It is a state of intense concentration called a trance. It does not provoke loss of consciousness, nor loss of self-control. The patient keeps free will and can come out of the trance when he\/she wishes. The therapist acts as a guide in order to teach the patient how to use his subconscious to improve his inner state.<\/p>\n<p>Sylvie Wyler\u00a0regularly uses hypnosis in conjunction with acupuncture therapy. Which reinforces beneficially the acupuncture treatment.
