In Chinese medicine, this period corresponds to the <strong>Metal element,<\/strong> which represents what is precious.<br \/>\nThis reveals as to the body level a strain <strong>on the lung organ, which helps the heart to propel blood and warm the upper body<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAutumn is the time for harvesting but also for sowing. Here are some ideas to accompany this movement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Slow down the rhythm<\/strong> and the outings by finding the right balance between moments with friends and moments of solitude.<\/li>\n<li>Going <strong>to bed earlier<\/strong> will be good for the body.<\/li>\n<li>Take <strong>time to breathe<\/strong> and soak in the wonderful, heart-warming colours of nature.<\/li>\n<li>Sing! This remains an excellent breathing exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Try <strong>meditation<\/strong> with a focus on the colour white (Metal).<\/li>\n<li>Enhance your meals with <strong>ginger, coriander, cinnamon and turmeric<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Eat <strong>local and seasonal<\/strong>.
